Indigenous Rights Speaker coming to Modesto, Jan.14th
Russell Means to speak at Martin Luther King Commemoration. Russell Means, a life long indigenous rights and constitutional rights activist, actor, artist and author, will be the keynote speaker at the 2006 Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemoration on Saturday, January 14, 7 p.m. in the Mary Stuart Rogers Student Learning Center on Modesto Junior Colleges West Campus. Means will speak on The Value of Yesterday for Today and Tomorrow at this annual event that is open to the public and free of charge.
